Defensive

DTT’s interview stance is a non-aggressive posture that empowers the defender to defuse a situation while lowering the level of the force matrix. Although not dangerously defensive, DTT’s defensive techniques are designed around a triple redundancy system of safety features. This allows our graduates to be safe while evaluating the situation, constantly using verbal and situational de-escalation methodologies. If the aggressor becomes physically volatile, our graduates have the ability to move off the line of an attack, working constantly toward a “safe zone” where the attacker can be controlled by deflection and immobilization techniques.
